I'm very excited to announce that I just got a book contract for "Neeta Lyffe, Zombie Exterminator."

By the 2040s, the shambling dead have become and international problem. While governments and special interest groups vie for the most environmentally-friendly way to rid the world of zombies, a new breed of exterminator has risen: The Zombie Exterminator.

When zombie exterminator Neeta Lyffe gets sued because a zombie she set afire stumbles onto a lawyer's back porch, she needs money fast. So she agrees to train apprentice exterminators in a reality TV show that makes Survivor look like a child's tag game. But that's nothing compared to having to deal with crazy directors, bickering contestants and paparazzi. Can she keep her ratings up, her bills paid and her apprentices alive and still keep her sanity?

The publisher, Kim Richards, told me that she was laughing so hard in some spots, she couldn't breathe.

It comes out in March from Damnation Books. Kim is a friend from another group. They publish mostly dark horror, but Neeta appeared in an anthology I participated in, and they had requests for a novel with her. I'll let you know when it's out.

Featuring the long-awaited story of how Vern and Grace meet. Sister Grace has been sent to the Mundane for treatment for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. When she suspects that a spell is hidden in the lyrics of a new hit song, she hires Vern to investigate. The spell summons a demon from an ancient nightmare, and Vern's out of his element.
