"Build Your Marketing Plan": We'll examine four basic marketing areas: Online relationships, Off-line relationships, Press, and Platform. In week five, we'll put it together into a marketing plan you can offer to publishers in a proposal or use for yourself on your contracted book.

"Virtual Book Tours": Learn how to arrange and conduct your own on-line book tour! We'll cover finding blogs and podcasts, getting the gig, coordinating the stops. You'll come away with a tour for your book.

"Video Book Trailers": Creating your own book trailer video doesn't have to expensive or difficult. With free pictures, free music and Windows Movie Maker, you can make your own in a weekend. This class will take you through the basics. Must have Windows MovieMaker or some movie-making program you are familiar with.

"Worldbuilding": We all love to read about vivid, lively worlds, but writing them can seem like a challenge? What do I consider? Where to I research? What should I include? This course will cover the major aspects of worldbuilding, then talk about how to put it together and show, not tell about, your world in your story.
