Authors can no longer depend on their publishers to handle their publicity--and professional publicists can charge thousands of dollars. However, there are many tasks we authors can do for ourselves. I can't make you an expert publicist, but I can teach you the basics you need to make a splash for yourself and your books.

Your workshop was filled with so much helpful information. I am in pre-publishing stage, may self-publish if that's what it takes to get my book in print, and all of this has been so helpful to me. "Worldbuilding 101": Want to create a detailed believable world for your stories, but don't know where to start? Worldbuilding 101 will challenge you to examine the major aspects of your world, from geology to culture, and how it applies to your story. This is a fun class of brainstorming.
