Authors can no longer depend on their publishers to handle their publicity--and professional publicists can charge thousands of dollars. However, there are many tasks we authors can do for ourselves. I can't make you an expert publicist, but I can teach you the basics you need to make a splash for yourself and your books.
Your workshop was filled with so much helpful information. I am in pre-publishing stage, may self-publish if that's what it takes to get my book in print, and all of this has been so helpful to me. Just enough homework to involve us without overwhelming us, and your feedback has been great!--Lou H.
I now have a far, far better idea of how to go about marketing my book.--Margaret Fieland
The newsletter is great. Just the type of thing I need to keep me on task. --Lisa M. Hendey, Author of The Handbook for Catholic Moms
